The Orthopedic Surgery Project


There are a number of children who are born with various deformities and without corrective surgery they have a very bleak future. We will look after the cost ($200 each operation) of over 100 operations each year through the Italian Orthopedic Hospital in Lusaka.

Our Residence

The residence we built for Sister Egidia is a very necessary addition as the children are accompanied by usually 2-3 family members and with no where to stay and absolutely no means of support it means the wards are over crowded and the risk of infection is high. 

 



The Glassco Foundation has committed to look after the annual costs of operating the residence.


Canadian Treasures

We have ensured that we have a good supply of stuffed animals so that each child will be comforted by and be able to take home a special treasure from Canada.
